Four engines will be available from launch all featuring Jaguar's proven six-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted 'paddles' for manual gear selection (Jaguar Sequential ShiftTM):
Both petrol and diesel V6 engines are offered in Luxury and Premium Luxury models; the naturally aspirated V8 will be Premium Luxury and the supercharged SV8 has its own unique specification.
The C-XF concept car signalled the turning point for Jaguar and the unveiling of the XF at the Frankfurt Motor Show reflects the marque’s seamless move into its new era.
Fusing the style and performance of a sports car with the refinement, space and sophistication of a luxury saloon, the XF embodies Jaguar’s principles of designing strikingly beautiful, fast cars with outstanding driving dynamics, ability and control.
With the spaciousness of a saloon (the XF comfortably sits its driver and four adults), a luxurious interior with a choice of three trim levels as well as engineering and technological excellence, the new XF has all the hallmarks of a Jaguar thoroughbred.
The XF is available to order now and first deliveries are expected in spring 2008.
